1. Just found this podcast and was glad to hear you say this is a form of Gnosticism in our culture.
2. I would push back on the idea that these people are not lying. Lying is an acceptable thing in many cultures especially to retain one’s honor. I do believe many youth today have shifted in their cultural thinking to no longer think in terms of right and wrong, but in terms of honor and shame. So I do believe they lie and they do it on purpose because their honor is more valuable than anything.
